BECOME A MEMBER
Organizations and Individuals
•Collective voice in working with DC public charter schools.
•Up-to-date and relevant information about DC public and charter schools.
•Promotional materials plus free tickets and transportation for DC students to performances and events as part of the Arts for Every Student (AFES) program.
•Access to DC public and charter schools that could benefit from your organization's program(s).
•Opportunities to market your organization to school and cultural institutions.
•Professional Development workshops for individuals and organization staff.
•Networking opportunities for individuals and organization staff.
•Information about funding opportunities for your education programs.
Affiliates
•Discounts to member events.
•Access to free ticket offers for DC Collaborative members.
•Up-to-date information on arts education in DC public and charter schools and in schools across the nation.
Member Responsibilities
•Pay annual dues.
•Attend the Annual Membership Meeting and at least one of the three General Meetings each year.
•Serve on at least one committee and attend 50% of the committee's meetings.
•Credit the DC Collaborative for sponsorship of AFES events as follows: "Some students at today's events are participating in the Arts for Every Student program, an initiative of the DC Arts and Humanities Education Collaborative. [Name of organization] is a member of the DC Collaborative." (Print logo if possible.)
•Acknowledge your organization’s membership in your annual report, as follows: "[Name of organization] is a member of the DC Arts and Humanities Education Collaborative."
